Compact, High Efficient Power Supply

Design Criteria (DCI) is developing a revolutionary, compact, isolated, high efficient power supply.  We have demonstrated 86% efficiency.  Soon, we will be achieving 95% efficiency.  This circuit is very robust which will enhance military, industrial, telecom and medical systems and equipment.  In additon, it provides isolation, is rugged and compact.  The high density Pi2 offers :

  • ►Cycle-by-cycle regulation. 
  • ►Cycle-by-cycle short circuit protection.
  • ►Low parts count.
  • ►Proprietary self-oscillating controller.
  • ►High reliability.
  • ►Does not follow the Nyquist criteria.
  • ►Very reliable.
  • ►Applications include off-line or low voltage DC-DC converters.

Due to its reduction in complexity, the Pi2 complies with military standards such as the EMI requirements of MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-810 for environmental requirements and conforms to MIL-STD-704 and MIL-STD-1275.  In vehicles and equipment where size, weight, power and ruggedness are a serious consideration, the Pi2 provides an excellent solution. In addition DCI is ITAR certified.
